About Us

As a woman-owned family business whose hobbies are DIY-ing and woodworking, we wanted to have somewhere to showcase our projects as we make them.

 A Little About Our Family

As stated above, we are a family business. There is Keith and Michelle, their daughter Amanda, and her husband James. We thought you might like to know a little more about us and why we decided this was a good fit for our family.

Keith

Keith has been woodworking since high school, has had multiple construction and manual labor jobs that include, but are not limited to: painting, drywall, and sign making.

He has been on multiple safety committees and is now working full time for a company to help with maintenance of their large equipment. He has also DIY-ed many home projects due to his experience, and has taught the rest of us one project at a time.

Michelle

Michelle took a few years of woodshop, and since then has helped Keith with all their DIY projects throughout their marriage. Michelle is our idea person and finds ways to cut costs so we can give our customers the best price we can.

James

James has always loved knowing how things worked and how they get put together from computers to wood working. With a couple of projects under his belt, including building his own fence by himself during the pandemic, and his OCD-level attention to detail, he helps us get things done and adding the detail we need to ensure it works the best for our customers.

Amanda

Amanda is now a full time mom. Along with working in the workshop and learning aside her family, she is also the behind the scenes person who does the not-so-fun things that comes with a small business.

Where Our Wood Comes From

We find wood in the Dallas, Texas area from companies that sell reclaimed wood pieces from old homes and architecture. We also try to find pieces that are left over from construction projects. They could have been pieces that did not work for a project due to it splitting, bending, or not the right size, and otherwise would have been thrown away.

We try to keep it as local as possible and work with as many small businesses and handmade businesses as we can to support one another.

Thank You!

Thank you for stopping by and learning a little more about us, what we do, and why we do it. We are grateful to all our customers and those that support us!
